Akiko Hirai Laughing Cocoon Sugar Jar in White

Handcrafted in London, a limited-edition collection by renowned Japanese ceramicist Akiko Hirai. She forms each piece by hand. During firing, serendipitous colours and blemishes occur, giving each piece its own distinct texture and life. Her distinctive works emerge from a rare balance of masterful craft and the unpredictable reaction of minerals and elements within the kiln. A work of quiet craft, each piece is singular.
